This is an elegant party
appetizer – serve with your favorite crackers or crusty bread
Ingredients:
1 wedge brie - about 1/2 #
1 sheet pastry dough
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 tablespoon sliced almonds
Egg white
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Roll the pastry dough until it is thin.
Slice the brie in half, lengthwise.
On one half of the brie, put the parsley and almonds. Put the other half
on top.
Put the brie in the center of the filo and wrap the dough around it to
seal it into a'package'
Use the egg white to make a wash to help brown the filo (brush the egg
white on the dough)
Put on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with cooking spray
Bake until golden - about 15 minutes.
