1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound Italian sausage
1 1/2 tablespoons garlic, minced
2 cups chicken broth, fat free, low sodium
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup shell pasta, uncooked, small
1/2 cup Romano cheese, grated
1 1/2 teaspoons oregano, dried
1/2 teaspoon basil, dried
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
2 cans cannelini beans with liquid
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper - may be omitted if hot sausage is used
Heat the oil in a large saucepan over medium-high

Sauté until the sausage is browned,
stirring to crumble.
