Latvia and Lithuania Southbound

August 3

Time to leave Estonia – we drove to the ferry and headed down the road to Lativa – we basically retraced our route and stayed in the same hotel – and had another massage!

August 4

Now to Lithuania – we once again stayed in Kaunas at the Baltvilla. This time we had a little free time to explore the old town, which is lovely. While at the hotel that evening we decided to check our route – whoops! Our GPS was going to direct us through Kaliningrad, a Russian exclave for which you need a visa (which takes three months to get). Major route change!
